Scandinavian upholstered furniture from 1940s/50s has an ideal combination of modern design, aesthetic beauty, functionality and traditional craftsmanship using quality materials.
Upholstered furniture from this period uses mostly hand-tied coil springs or unique sprung units. These springs combined with natural materials such as coir, latex, wool and hair creates a premium and long lasting comfort.
This furniture was made to last, has lasted nearly one hundred years, and after careful and considered restoration will become heirloom.
